EPS has been ISO accredited since 2013 and in 2018 our ISO certification was upgraded to ISO 9001-2015. This gives us a strong platform for ensuring our operational systems are efficient and effective, as well as helping us to continually enhance our capabilities.
Founder Les Gordon leads a highly skilled team of engineers, product designers, project managers and logistics experts. Les has over 40 years hands-on experience in every role of the manufacturing and design process, has worked with suppliers in many counties in Asia and has lived in China.
From his early days as an apprentice in plastics, he went on to become a tool design engineer with hands on experience on the production shop-floor, and then Technical and Project Manager heading up major programs. Les then set up his own business, leading an international team with many years of industry experience. EPS continue to take pride in the service excellence they are now recognised for.
The EPS team’s combination of technical know-how and on the ground support in Asia means we can avoid many of the pitfalls of manufacturing overseas. We’ve built a reputation for our innovation in providing solutions to complex, multi-cavity and precision plastic injection moulding applications.
Our network
EPS Tooling is based in the UK, with its Head Office in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, and has satellite offices in the Midlands, and project offices in Shenzhen and Taizhou in China. The EPS network of suppliers spans Europe and Asia, including locations in China, Taiwan, Korea and throughout Europe.
We have technical support from our partner tool rooms in the UK, Slovakia and Germany for adjustments, repairs and corrections if and when required, we are able to offer mould trial facilities in the UK.
